At the beginning of the Đakovica corse (from Strossmayer Square), since the spring of 2013, there has been a bronze statue of Luka Botić, the work of academic sculptor Marijan Sušac. This statue is a gift of the Benašić spouses from Đakovica to their fellow citizens on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the death of the famous writer.
