After the Second World War, the Đakovo stud farm was nationalized and ever since then it has been owned by the state. Queen Elizabeth II of England, with her husband and her royal suite, visited the Đakovo Lipizzan stud farm in 1972, and on 15 March 2016, the stud farm welcomed a member of the British royal family for the second time. This time it was Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
