Cultural institutions

Not many places boast so many cultural institutions like Đakovo, whose valuable collections and programs attract the attention and enrich the lives of the town folk.

If you wish to read a good book, listen to a lecture or bring your kids to an educational workshop, there is the Town Library and Reading Room, which has catered to the needs of the greater urban area and organized many events for its members for decades. If, however, you prefer a good movie instead, or an interesting exhibition or a performance, the Culture Centre is the right place for cultural events in the town. The Catholic Faculty of Theology comprises the Central Archdiocese and Faculty Library, which is at the disposal of students, scientists and other interested parties.
